Symptoms

After that one or more Web sites has been removed the Content Studio event log fills up with a large number of error messages:

System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: The specified ConnectionId "NNNNN" is invalid on this system. Parameter name: id

The specified ConnectionId "NNNNN" is invalid on this system.
Parameter name: id

Cause

When a registry entry for a specific web site is removed, Content Studio Service Manager is not aware of this and tries to open a connection to the removed web site repeatedly. Every time this operation fails with this error message.

Resolution

Restart the Content Studio Service Manager Service on the affected computer. There is no need restart the Content Studio Service.
